Since 2022, Oil Design Lab has had the privilege of serving as the Art Directors for Emporium, guiding the company through a transformative journey to redefine its identity and position in the market. Our collaboration has been marked by a deep commitment to crafting a fresh, innovative brand image that resonates with modern audiences. Through thoughtful design, strategic direction, and a focus on aligning the brand with its evolving values, we have helped Emporium establish a stronger presence, ensuring its relevance and appeal in an ever-changing market. This ongoing partnership reflects our dedication to shaping meaningful, lasting brand identities.

First and foremost, we managed the complete overhaul of Emporium's brand identity, beginning with the creation of a new logo that reflects the company’s modern, dynamic vision. This fresh visual identity serves as the cornerstone of Emporium’s transformation, aligning their look and feel with their evolving values and aspirations. Alongside the logo, we developed a new tone of voice, carefully crafted to engage their target audience with clarity and authenticity. This redefined communication style ensures consistency across all platforms, strengthening Emporium's position in the market and helping them connect more deeply with their customers.

In a second phase of our collaboration, we took charge of redesigning Emporium’s entire catalogue, bringing a fresh perspective to their historical products. By carefully revisiting and refining their iconic items, we made significant changes that enhanced their appeal and relevance in today’s market. This process involved not only modernizing the visual presentation but also ensuring that each product's story and heritage were effectively communicated, striking a balance between tradition and innovation. The updated catalogue now reflects a cohesive and contemporary brand image, reinforcing Emporium's new identity.

In the final phase of our collaboration with Emporium, we had the privilege of designing an entirely new collection of products. Among the standout pieces in this collection is the Kona Lamp, a product that has garnered significant recognition, winning the prestigious German Design Award. This new collection, featuring the award-winning Kona Lamp, represents not only the culmination of our work but also a new chapter for Emporium in the global design market.

The KONA family of lamps consists of two basic elements, namely the pendant version and the wall sconce version. The pendant version stems from the desire to create a sensitive, extremely light object whose simplicity could hide its considerable size."
