Mulino Bianco concept store
In 2023, we participated in a competition alongside the Milan-based communication agency "All Communications" for the development of a concept for a flagship store for Mulino Bianco.
The competition brief suggested creating a project that would embody the brand's core values, such as tradition, family, and conviviality. It called for areas including a bar for product sales, tasting spaces suitable for workshops and laboratories, lounge areas for consumption, as well as exhibition and recreational zones.
The project, developed by GaS Studio and OIL Design Lab, focused specifically on these aspects, designing a warm and inviting environment that highlighted Mulino Bianco’s characteristics, its key values, and the aesthetics that the brand draws inspiration from.
We chose to use wood as the primary material to create spaces that encouraged conviviality, while maintaining all functions in an open-plan layout that centrally featured the bar area for breakfast.
