REDO custom furniture
In 2024, our studio collaborated with REDO to design custom furniture for their new student housing project in Rogoredo, Milan. Although the architectural design was handled by another firm, we were responsible for creating the furniture and amenities tailored to the needs of student living.
Our approach focused on three key factors:
Cost-effectiveness – We chose affordable materials and simple finishes to ensure efficient production.
Durability – Given students' tendency to damage furniture, we designed pieces with exceptional strength and longevity.
Ease of installation – With 450 rooms to furnish, we made sure all items were easy to assemble and install.
The final design included a 120x60 cm desk, a 200x120 cm bed, a wardrobe (customized in size for different room layouts), a kitchenette, and a lamp, all tailored for three different room types.
